In the case of the Mido riding boots, the water resistant leather upper is combined with a low profile Vibram sole. Made by Diemme in Italy, the boot adds a reinforced toe cap along with a low cut ankle design to make it comfortable to pedal in while still offering much of the support found in a hiking boot.
Available in black, brown, green, and Bordeaux leather each boot ships with three different laces – tone on tone, contrast, and black reflective. While expensive at $318 (260€), the Italian made boots would make an excellent option for winter commuters, tourers, and bike packers.
