The bicycle product world is a big place. So big that many very good but very small brands can be lost in the mix, or difficult to find. That made Fritz Bohl think that there was room for another distributor in the U.S., but one that focused on unique brands that are quintessentially cool but also provide lasting performance. Selling to dealers or direct through the Zeitbike website, brands like De Marchi should be a bit easier to get your hands on…
For the environmentalists out there, Zeitbike will be distributing Green-Oil which is a UK based company that is completely focused on “green” bicycle maintenance. From the up cycled bottle caps, displays made from up cycled pallets, and the packaging of cleaners ( shipped 1/4 full of concentrated mixes that require you to fill with water so the shipping weight is less for less impact), Green-Oil is about as eco friendly as it gets. Their marquee Green Oil wet hair lube is meant for all conditions and is a completely plant based formula shipped in a 100% recycled bottle.
Other products like their CF3 lube spray which uses air pressure from the pump top instead of isobutane for a propellant, and the first FSC certified bicycle brush round out the line.
The Pedal Pushers Club has been cranking out awesome bike related threads for a while now, but with their addition to the Zeitbike line up they should be easier to find than ever.
The same goes for Ass Savers fenders, VDO computers, Hirzl gloves, and TWO magazine which Bohl publishes.
Also on display in the Zeitbike booth were the reflective goods of Fiks:Reflective. The company was founded solely on reflective stickers to make your bike easier to see at night, but done in a fun way that actually makes riders want to use them. From wheel stickers to stylish frame decals, there are multiple colors including stealth black which will light up under the night lights.
