Over the years Endura has become synonymous with durable clothing meant to protect riders from the Scottish climate that came in black. Most of that is still true – the only difference is you can now get much of the line in bright colors. In addition to the classic black, of course.
As I’ve said before, a quality rain jacket is something that can be difficult to purchase due to the sticker shock, but once you’ve laid down the cash, you’ll wonder why you didn’t buy one sooner. Fortunately, options like the Endura Singletrack jacket make it so you don’t have to spend $500 to get something that will keep you dry…
The perfect rain jacket is in a constant battle between breathability and waterproofing. To manage this balance, Endura uses a completely seam sealed 2.5 layer waterproof fabric with a waterproof and breathability rating of 10,000 mm. That puts it right in the middle of the typical scale. To add to the weatherproofing, the jacket uses waterproof zippers throughout.
Features throughout the jacket include a roll away hood, pit zip vents, and a sealed Napoleon chest pocket with an internal media port. Of course there are standard hand warmer pockets and reflective trim throughout.
Available in Men’s S-XXL in black, blue, and red and Women’s in XS-XL in red and purple, both for $169.99. Available now.
