Helmet maker Nutcase has picked three winning designs out of the couple of hundred submissions they had last month for their Unframed design contest. The designs came in from artists from 19 countries and got narrowed down to 10 finalists. For the third year running Unframed helps Nutcase raise money to support World Bicycle Relief while bringing some fresh designs to their hardshells. Check out the winning submissions after the break…
The winning artists will now collaborate with Nutcase to develop their design into onto a helmet in the limited Unframed Artist Series that will then go on sale in 2017.
This years winners are Collin Sekajugo of Uganda/Rwanda, Kyle Confehr of the USA, and Yan Yan Candy Ng of Hong Kong/Australia. Their designs will be developed onto Nutcase Gen 3 street helmets that feature the Nutcase spin dial fit system, a Fidlock magnetic chin strap buckle, 360º reflectivity, 11-vent air cooling, and a removable visor.
