It’s been a badly kept secret, but Aaron Gwin is now on YT. After spending time racing for two industry powerhouses with Trek and Specialized, Gwin is bringing his winning ways to a much smaller name in the industry. Banking on the motto, “good times,” YT is hoping to shake things up on the pro circuit while giving their Tues CF Pro some time in the spotlight and (hopefully for them) on the podium…
Joining Gwin will be 20 year old Spanish ripper Angel Suarez who has managed to translate a successful motocross career into a top 20 finish at Lenzerheide in 2015.
Supposedly on YT for the next three years, Gwin and Suarez will both be aboard the Tues CF Pro – a World Cup level DH rig that you can buy consumer direct. Currently available for pre-order only, there is no doubt that YT is hoping this partnership with Gwin will help establish the Tues CF as one of the hot bikes for consumers in the U.S. Thanks to the pricing of $6,299, impressive build, and 33.9 lb (15.4kg) complete weight, that shouldn’t be hard to do.
The team will also be rolling a full e*thirteen LG1 spec with Race Carbon wheels, chainguide, and crankset with Direct Mount Guidering M. They will also be using TRP hydraulic disc brakes in a surprising move.

But the real question – will Gwin be just as fast on the YT? We’re pretty sure he would be fast on a department store bike (with or without a chain), so we’re guessing you might be seeing YT on the podium very soon…
