Enve Composites is offering up a unique chance to see the Tour de France this July from the inside of the peloton. Partnering up with their sponsored Dimension Data team who’ll be racing le Tour, Enve is holding an online contest for a lucky cyclist and their guest to fly to France, hobnob with the team and get a behind the scenes look at the racing. Not only will the winner get to join Enve to spectate at the event, they’ll get to ride along on a stage in a team car, will get a chance to ride one of the Alpine mountain stages, and go home with a set of wheels. Check out the full details and how to enter after the jump…
To enter all you have to do is head over to Enve’s website to a dedicated page that they’ve set up for the Tour contest. No purchase needed to enter, but you do need to give both a valid email and Strava profile name. The winner and a friend will be awarded airfare to and from the 4 day trip in July, as well as lodging as they join the Enve team. They’ll get a chance to meet with the riders of Team Dimension Data, and even join them for a rest day ride.
Dates of the trip will be July 10-14, which means the winner will join the team for the first rest day in Andorra and then be able to watch stages 10, 11 & 12 which culminate with a mountain top finish on Mount Ventoux. Not only that, but Enve is organizing it so the winner will have a chance to climb the iconic Ventoux before the pros get there. Then when all is said and done and they are sent back home, the winner will roll away with their choice of one of Enve’s current SES wheelsets to remember it all.
The competition is open to cyclists worldwide, and runs until next week. The winner will be announced on June 30 (next Thursday) with the trip just a week and a half later, so check that your passport is valid ASAP.
