The best suspension in the world won’t do you much good if you don’t know how to tune it. Sure, you know how to put air in your shocks and maybe give a click or two of rebound, but do you really know how to get the most out of it? No matter what your answer, Cane Creek says their new suspension app is for you. From complete beginners to advanced riders who already know their shock tunes, the free app offers tools to make it easier to dial in the perfect ride every single time…

Obviously, since Cane Creek is offering the app, the program will deal exclusively with Cane Creek products like the Double Barrel rear shock. After inputting your bike set up from the baseline tunes of over 6,000 full suspension bikes in their database, tuning can begin. In addition to offering step by step tuning advice from a blank slate, users can also input a baseline tune of their own and start from there. When using the Tuning Session feature, it will ask you to ride a certain segment of trail that is easily repeatable, and will ask you questions afterwards. Your answers then determine what the app will suggest for tuning the suspension.

Advanced suspension tuners can simply use the app to store suspension profiles and take notes on their preferred set up. Cane Creek says they will also offer how-to videos in the future to help you get the most out of your suspension. Future versions should also include translations as well as the opportunity for social sharing.

DIALED is free and available now for iPhone and Android user in iTunes, the App store and on Google Play.
