Earlier this year, Framed bundled SRAM’s Rival group into the Rodez, a mid-level carbon road bike for $1,700. Now, they’ve upped the ante by offering the same frame, this time with a SRAM Red eTap drivetrain for just $3,299. Adding to the value are tubeless ready PUB carbon wheels, a high modulus carbon frame/fork, and TRP HY/RD (cable ⇒ hydraulic) disc brakes. We’re guessing the use of the mechanical SRAM eTap group matched with the HY/RD brakes might be one of the areas Framed was able to save on the build costs. The full SRAM Red eTap drivetrain includes a 52/36 tooth crank and an 11-26 11-speed cassette.

Taking all the parts into consideration, the $3,300 price tag is a fairly aggressive offer. It’s only available in 52, 54, and 57cm frames, though, so here’s hoping it fits.
