Good news for GoPro fans who are also Polar users. The just announced today that it will be integrating GoPro controls into their existing V800 GPS watch and M600 smart watch. Starting soon, V800 users will be able to remotely control GoPro Hero 4 cameras through the watch in order to control basic functions over Bluetooth. Support will then follow for the M600 watch which will allow control of the Hero 5 cameras. Each will provide on screen details to whether the camera is filming (is this thing on?) as well as the current battery life of the camera.

To make those GoPro clips a little more interesting, Polar is also introducing a new H10 heart rate strap that will possess a number of smart functions including the ability to overlay your heart rate on the video. Polar claims the strap also includes a new measuring to increase heart rate accuracy and can be used in a pool. Compatible with iOS and android devices, the strap has built in memory and can be paired with any Polar watch or tracker as well as the Polar Beat free fitness and training app.
