Find yourself yearning for new adventures on your bike? Well, if ultra long brevets are something you’re into, or ever thought about, you’ll want to check out the latest film from the Specialized Adventure Team. Even if you have no intention for ever riding your bike 2,177km in 156 hours, it’s still worth a watch just to see how the ride progresses from planning to execution, and everything that happened along the way. The Length of Sweden features Rita Jett, Kristian Hallberg and Erik Nohlin as they ride the entire length of the country starting in brutal conditions, all in a beautiful tale of adventure, suffering, and pushing your limits…

Head on over to Specialized.com to watch the full video, which is available in its entirety as a sneak preview for this weekend only.

I’ll ride in winter, but rain? Misery is not my thing, I ride for fun.

Making (bike) goals and fulfilling them is fun! (Especially if you get to design the bike to go on epic adventures). Almost bought the sequoia today, but because I have the awol opted to go a slightly different route!

Despite my lack of love for Erik Nohlin’s narcissism, I do have to give him credit for getting Sinyard to bankroll his self marketing campaigns.

Not quite understanding all of the hate on these comments. Specialized provides genuine content on riding and the lifestyles that follow and you just bag on it? Pretty sad. The video was great.

Some saddening comments here…

Lovely work by ERTZUI and the team who did this insane trip.

They’re not vacationing, this is their job – compare it to your 156 hours of budget meetings, vendor pitches and cube farm politics, late deliveries and unreasonable customers, union red tape and delusional bosses, then, perhaps, it might not seem so crazy?
