Where to ride

  • Pedaling and Wine, an ideal combo in Colorado – The new owners of the now 24th annual Tour de Vineyards cycling tour – ClippedIn Productions – just announced an update to their annual fall ride in Palisade, CO. The tour gets several new features to better the event while keeping a number of Tour de Vineyards’ past traditions. Beyond a new logo, the Tour gets a new start/finish in downtown Palisade and is working on a 2nd route option into scenic Mesa County. Most notably is a new longer 58 mile option for more exploration through Palisade’s wine country. Registration for Sept 16 event is open now, with early bird discounts through May 15. • Brompton World Championship USA coming to the Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic on June 18 – Classic British attire and folding bikes will duke in out on the streets of Harlem for the first time this year on Father’s Day. While the Brompton World Championship USA is a serious event, with winners of the men’s and women’s races being flown to London to compete in the grand final, the race also offers something of a visual spectacle. The 2017 Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic takes place Sunday, June 18 at Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem from 11:30am. Brompton.com/BWCUSA

  • Join Moots at their Steamboat Sprigs Ranch Rally this June – Back for its fourth year, they are gearing up for the Moots-Colorado Ranch Rally 2017. Limited to 150 riders it’ll be a day of riding and raising money for the Community AG Alliance of Steamboat. The fundraiser ride explores the roads less traveled around Moots HQ, where you’ll meet new friends and challenge yourself. There are no awards other than seeing the amazing countryside around Steamboat Springs and meeting some great people along the way. Where the pavement ends, the fun begins. Moots.com
