Scotland’s Endura has been producing custom cycling clothing for over 25 years, but until now it wasn’t available in the USA. While Americans do have access to their catalogue items like the MT500 pullover I recently reviewed, the option to order custom-designed riding gear was just introduced last week.
Apparently Endura has received many requests from riders and retailers in the USA for their custom gear, and they’ve finally decided to make it happen.
“We did our research to meet the demands and we are ready to bring custom to the states,” says Endura’s Global Director Jim McFarlane.
If you are a bike retailer, a member of a cycling club or just a rider looking for a standout kit, read on to find out how to get your logo or custom graphics on some premium Endura gear…
Endura’s custom clothing will all be manufactured in the company’s facility in Livingston, Scotland, by the same employees who craft custom gear for the Movistar Team professional athletes, the Cervelo-Bigla Women’s World Tour team, and world champion Triathletes like Tim Don, Rachel Joyce and Nils Frommhold.
The custom program includes graphic design support, aggressive minimum thresholds, an individual account manager and a six-week turnaround time. A wide selection of customizable garments will be offered to accommodate different sizes and body types, including Endura’s World Tour products (WT), which were developed in conjunction with the Movistar Team.
Interested parties should first browse through Endura’s Custom products (see website) and select which models and/or garments they would like to purchase. Options include jackets, gilets, bodysuits, shorts, bibshorts, leg and arm warmers, gloves, overshoes, and a slew of jerseys for road, triathlon and MTB.
Next, email Endura your desired design; You can either use Endura’s custom artwork template (available online) to draft up your ideas, or submit digital photos or even hand-drawn sketches. The design team will convert your submission into 3-D renderings and send them back for approval. In the meantime, you can request custom sizing samples to ensure you order garments that fit well (remember, custom clothing can’t be exchanged!).
After an order has been placed, members of your club can log in and view the designs in 3-D, track production progress, and when they’re ready orders can be sent out to each rider individually or to a collective team address and account.
Interested riders can email Endura directly at usacustom@endurasport.com or visit their website to place an order. Retailers should contact Endura at 1-800-936-3872 to find out about dealer-specific pricing and benefits.
