bikerumor pic of the day Laxe Doxa in the Peloponnese, Greece.

Photo submitted by Panayiotis Papadopoulos, “Few people know that Greece is a mountainous country. Here is a photo from today’s ride up to Lake Doxa in the Peloponnese at 900m high. The mountains in the back are topping 2350m and it gets pretty cold in the winter but it was a lovely day today for a ride :)”

We always love seeing photos from where you are riding and are happy to share them with our readers around the world here on the Pic Of The Day. Send in your pics with a brief description here.

  1. It is a hard ride from the sea level, but car traffic is minimal if you choose the abandoned twisty road that passes through Kastania. Greetings Panos!
