With cross season all but wrapped up, your CX bike might be going into hibernation. But with the VonHof ACX, it’s built so that it doesn’t have to. Built around race ready CX geometry, VonHof made sure to add in a few features that will keep you riding the ACX year ’round, whether you’re talking gravel or CX.
Using their aluminum CX bike as a starting point, the ACX jumps in with a Columbus steel build features a proprietary top tube shaped for shouldering, and a Bi-oval downtube for stiffness. Fitted with standards like flat mount disc tabs in the rear, a threaded T47 BB, and a 1.5″ tapered head tube, the frame is built to accept up to 40mm tires which should extend its range beyond the CX course.
Equipped with 12mm thru axles front and rear, the ENVE fork up front still runs post mount brakes.
Built with very similar geometry to their aluminum CX bike including BB drop and HT angle, the ACX is certainly geared towards CX racing though it should be perfectly adequate for gravel adventures.
Available as a frame and fork, the ACX includes a two color finish for $2,395. Full custom frames start at $3,250.
