Now in their 12th year of making innovative tools and accessories, Lezyne has a bigger catalog than ever. Originally, Lezyne had planned on just adding a few new products for year 12, but before they knew it, almost 20 new items had sprung forward. A lot of that is due to their ability to react quickly to market trends and develop new products at a faster rate with full R&D and development facilities in house at their San Luis Obispo U.S. headquarters. After developing the products in house, they’re then able to be produced quickly in Lezyne’s own state of the art factory in Taiwan, and on the market before you know it.
While there are a ton of new products as mentioned, we’ve picked some of the highlights here, like their new Storage Drive which includes five bits that are stored in the handle (4, 5, 6mm, and T25/T30). The floating handle allows it to be a T-handle or L-wrench, and the tool includes its own carrying strap to mount it on your seatpost, frame, etc. There is an integrated magnet to keep the bits in the tool, and the kit sells for $24.99.
A little smaller but with more bits, the T-Drive is stored in its own case with 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8mm, and T10, 25, and 30, plus Phillips and Flat Head screw driver bits. Again machined out of aluminum with a magnet for the bits, the whole kit runs $34.99.
The new Shop Floor Drive pump is a high quality floor pump that stores a selection of tools in the handles.
This was still a prototype, but the finished product will have room for a V5 multi tool, tire levers, and a patch kit inside the threaded handle bar ends.
The pump features a huge 3.5″ gauge, aluminum base and barrel, and an ABS-1 Pro Head and will be available in black or silver for $99.99.
For more clever tool stashing, the new Storage Flow Drive is a composite matrix bottle cage that also has room for a V16/SV16 multi tool, CO2 head, and two CO2 cartridges. The Cage will be available unloaded, or loaded with all the parts mentioned above for $59.99.
If you already have a favorite cage but still want additional storage, the Storage Adapter mounts underneath a bottle cage and has room to carry a CO2 head, two cartridges, and a V5 multi tool.
Lezyne also has a number of updates to existing multi tools, two different tubeless plug repair kits, and a new hand pump hose with an integrated valve core tool.
On the electronic side, there are a number of updates and new products along with something big coming soon. But to mount everything, Lezyne has a new Direct X-Lock System that will be available soon. Lezyne actually licensed the design from another company (which they’ve never done before), but Lezyne had to update it to withstand a heavier load since their lights can be heavier than an action camera or GoPro. That included new aluminum arms for increased strength. Available as a full system only, the arms are adjustable to fit most stems (Ritchey stems are one of the few that won’t work).
There are a number of ways to use the system from lights to GPS to cameras, and they can be mounted above, below, or even behind the stem faceplate depending on your needs. The system will sell for $39.99 and includes all the necessary mounts.
Lezyne also has a few new lights including the $29.99 Mini Drive with 300 lumens, the $59.99 Micro Drive Pro with 650 lumens, and the Connect Drive which is an 800 lumen front Lite Drive with a 150 lumen rear Strip Drive, both of which can be controled by a new wireless two button remote.
