Photo submitted by Jason Reid, “They cleared the road of snow and opened the gate for 2019 on Sunday 6/9, second earliest opening in history. Photo is of my Giant TCR with Mount Shuksan in the background. The Mount Baker Highway (542) heads east from Bellingham Washington and ends at Artist Point. The climb from the last town of Glacier to the end of the road is 4000′ in 24 miles.”
