Photo submitted by Torkel Thorsen, “This is a glimpse of my morning commute through Nordmarka, the mountainous and forested area surrounding the city of Oslo in Norway. In summertime, miles upon miles of gravel roads. In wintertime, highways are covered in bright, white snow. I ride a British-designed Kinesis Tripster AT with Unaas wheelset handmade in Oslo, Redshift Shockstop stem for comfort, 45NRTH Gravdal 120 TPI for grip and Timber MTB Bell to alert wildlife.”

We always love seeing photos from where you are riding and are happy to share them with our readers around the world here on the Pic Of The Day. Send in your pics with a brief description here.

: Thanks!

@Josh: Not really. On this particular morning only about minus 7 degrees Celsius or 20 Fahrenheit. But winter is coming, and we may see temperatures down to about minus 5 Fahrenheit. Anyway, thanks to US manufacturers 45NRTH (Minnesota) for excellent shoes, gloves, caps and other apparel which makes winter cycling pleasant in the north.
