Photo submitted by Daniel Nacamuli, “A long time friend of mine and I met in Namibia for an unforgettable 5 day ride across the Namib desert, from Windhoek to Walvis Bay via the Gobabeb research centre. We’d start at 4:30am to get ahead of temperatures that often were in the 100°’s, each carrying two gallons of water to see us us through a day’s worth of complete and utter solitude. Wanted to also thank Joel from Pedal Revolution in SF for getting my bike ready for this crazy ride!”
