The new Nordest Super Albarda Ti reshapes what was the bike maker’s original drop bar gravel and adventure ride, now with even more mountain bike influence. The geometry gets slacked out now in ‘super gravel’ mode opting for a short cockpit setup for more stability over the most technical off-road touring terrain.
Nordest Super Albarda Ti slack titanium adventure gravel bike
The Super Albarda Ti make it more clear that this gravel bike is truly a rigid dropbar mountain bike just looking for adventure. Frame designer and the man behind both production Nordest and the full custom Jerónimo Cycles, Pedro Jerónimo says the new bike was developed to give a more off-road familiar feel to mountain bikers looking to build up a gravel bike for bikepacking and other adventure riding.

Nordest has slackened the super gravel bike out, with significantly longer reaches (2-5cm longer depending on size) to improve off-rad control together with modern stubby trail stems. In fact, now they are actually including their own 50mm forged alloy stem with each frame or frameset they sell. The new bike gets a two degree slacker headtube angle to 68°, plus a slightly steeper seattube to 74°. Bottom bracket drop even decreases by 5mm for improved off-road pedal clearance. The frames actually also gets slightly longer straight sections of the bent seattube to better fit dropper seatposts.
Super adventure gravel – Tech details
Tire clearance didn’t really need to change since there was already room for big 27.5 x 2.1″ XC mountain bike tires or fat 700c x 50mm gravel tires, so it keeps the same 420mm chainstays.
The versatile adventure gravel bike still starts with a tough double butted Ti-3Al-2.5V frame. With a claimed M/L frame weight of 1845g, this is meant to give you some of the compliance of ti in a bike built to last. It gets a threaded BB, 44mm headtube & a 12x142mm bolt-on rear thru-axle in the modular drop-outs.
The revised bike sticks with a 27.2mm seatpost diameter, but now adds stealth internal dropper compatibility to the otherwise full-length external routing. Again it is optimized for a single ring drivetrain up to 46T, or a compact 50/34T double max. The ti adventure bike gets plenty of bosses: two 3-pack sets on the downtube, a seattube bottle mount and rear rack & fender mounts, plus 3-pack anything cage & fender mounts on the carbon fork.
Nordest Super Albarda Ti – Pricing & availability
One thing that doesn’t change is the affordable price, technically it’s cheaper since it now includes a free 50mm stem. The Super Albarda Ti pricing starts at just 1400€ for the frame alone with the stem (only 150€ extra for custom geometry), or…

One complete bike build is available with a mechanical Shimano GRX 800 1×11 groupset for 3200€, with Easton & WTB finishing kit and tubeless alloy 700c wheels.
The new titanium Super Albarda Ti frames have a 10 week lead time, 12 weeks for the complete bike. Like before, a more affordable steel Super Albarda in 4130 chromoly is expected to become available in just over one month from now.
Update: Just as expected, a 4130 steel version of the Super Albarda is also now ready, at just about 1/3 the price of titanium!
