Sam Hill, taker of a hat trick of Enduro World Series titles, has signed another three year deal with Team CRC. The deal keeps him on the Nukeproof Mega 290c, now in its v4 iteration after a ground-up redesign at the back end of 2020. We’ve seen Elliot Heap ripping around Finale Ligure on it, but with his absence from the 2020 EWS season, this is the first time we’ve seen Sam take to his new steed…

“My initial impression of the new (V4) Mega is how quick and positive it feels to change lines and direction on the trails. The changes also make it feel a lot more playful to ride, but really stable when you’re going fast.” – Sam Hill
The most notable (OK, maybe not the most notable) thing about the 2021 Nukeproof Mega is that it finally fits a water bottle inside the front triangle! For more details on the rather more important stuff about the v4 Mega, including geometry and suspension kinematic, check out our in-depth tech piece.
Sam Hill’s Mega 290c has a full selection of his signature series components along with SRAM’s AXS set up, the Rockshox ZEB fork, MRP AMG guide and DH22 rubber from Michelin. The edit by Mark Garlic was filmed in Western Australia at Lingalonga bike park.
