Just over a year ago, No22 Bikes unveiled the first version of their sleek Reactor Aero road bike at MADE 2024. Fast forward to a year later, and No22 was back at MADE with Reactor Aero V2 – a bike that is much closer to production.

No22 has been busy in the past year, giving the bike a complete overhaul before it ever saw the first run of production. Much of this was to address the latest UCI guidelines for the aerodynamic form which includes a new seat tube and custom titanium seatpost.

The most notable change is likely the bar/stem combo, which is not only impressively sleek, but a thing of beauty inside and out. While the bar/stem assembly looks like one piece, the handlebar is actually bolted to the stem internally which allows the rider to remove the bar for shipping. The inside of the stem also houses clever ports to manage internal cable routing, while also accounting for headset preload and locking the stem in place, all hidden under the clamshell cover and secured in place with a bolt underneath.

The result is a stunningly futuristic front end, and one of the best-looking integrated stems we’ve seen.
While the V1 Reactor Aero was printed in one piece, No22 worked with RAM3D out of New Zealand to refine their production process for V2 with a procedure that involves printing the frame in 12 different parts, which are then welded together at the No22 facility in New York.

No22 hopes to finalize production in the next year as soon as they validate the aerodynamic design of the frame, finish structural and ride testing, and finalize the production of all the ti and carbon components. Pricing for the production run is still not finalized, but expect a frameset (frame, fork, and headset) to run somewhere between $10,000-$15,000. Each bike is built to order, and you can secure your place in line with a non-refundable $1,000 deposit that will be credited towards the final price.
