Want to document your ride, but don’t want to weigh down the front of your bike or clutter up your bars? The new Alpitude Stelvio V2 will not only give you a perch for a GPS and the option for a camera or light, but the mount won’t add much to the weight of your bike at just 18.5g.
Technically, the mount is actually just 15g, but that’s without the removable lower combo mount and ti screw. As follow up to the original Stelvio, the Stelvio V2 continues with a hollow carbon construction with medium modulus carbon fiber and a single bolt that attaches to various stems.
Available in multiple versions to fit various stems, the Stelvio is offered with MCFK, Extralite, Deda Superleggero, and Superleggero RS fitments. If you’re not running any of those stems, it’s also available in an alternate Ristretto version that can be mounted to Ritchey, 3T, or Zipp stems which have a bolt distance of 9mm.
As you might expect from something super light weight, there is a weight limit for the mount which is 300g. That’s the max total weight for the combo of GPS and camera – which would allow you to run, say, a GoPro Hero 8 and a Wahoo ROAM (220g combined). Just double check the weight if you plan on running heavier set ups though.
When ordering, you have the choice of four different GPS mounts including Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, and Omata. You’ll also have a choice of length – Small for GPS units up to 75mm long, and Normal for anything longer than 75mm. Finally, you can order it with or without the combo mount.
Pricing runs from 89,90€ – 110,00€, and their site says there may be a two week delay in shipping due to high demand.
