All Mountain Style has had a busy December. At the beginning of last month they introduced new chainstay and seatstay protection that would be perfect for your gravel, XC, or even road bike. Since AMS has been pushing frame protection that also adds a bit of style, they also introduced new mud guards to match.

Now, AMS has their eye on bikes with big downtubes – aka e-bikes and DH bikes. Really, any bike that’s built with big tubes would be an ideal candidate, but compared to their standard sizes the new XXL Frame Guards are four times larger. They’re even 1.9x bigger than their current XL offering.

Split into 18 different pieces, the guards are made from a high impact, durable semi-rigid PVC material that is guaranteed not to yellow over time. Meant to cover the bottom and sides of the downtube, top tube, chainstays, and additional spots for cable rub protection, the kit is claimed to weigh 48g and is easy to install. Priced at 55€, the kit is currently only available in clear with AMS logos.

Really wish they’d sell these without the ugly logo.

There’s nothing wrong with the logo design itself. It’s not ugly, and is, arguably a pretty attractive logo.
The issue is more that it’s present at all. Or is so large. Ive got too many logos on the bike and wheels as it is…
The same design, tiny but large enough to see at least, would make the thing look more elegant.

Depending on color of your bike/carbon you may not even see the logo – I have clear XL on my Ibis Hakkalugi Black / green downtube and it’s not really visible.
