You see this kind of stuff, and you just can’t help but ask, “are they human?” The race to land a double front flip to dirt has been quickly escalating lately with videos of clean doubles thrown into foam pits. While it takes an incredible amount of skill to land a trick clean into a foam pit, it is a completely different story to take that trick to dirt.

Bienve Aguado is a member of the expansive Masters of Dirt mountain bike squad, and obviously proved his mettle by being the first rider to land the double front to dirt.

Check out the incredible video of the Double Front Flip after the break!

From Masters of Dirt:

Binevenido called us up and said it’s time to stick the front flip. “I don’t wanna do it for the first time in front of a crowd, I want to deliver what I promise so let’s do this. We said alright, and just one week after a big shooting in Belluno Italy with Filmer Force at the cmyk compound we booked our flights to go even more south to Barcelona and support Bienve on his big mission! All turned out good and after a few crazy crashes Bienve stuck world’s first double front flip on a mountain bike after only 3 weeks of practice. So crowd get ready to see this amazing trick being performed at the masters of dirt tour stops in Graz (25 and 26th February 2011 ) and Vienna (12 and 13th March 2011) this is an absolute world premier and so gnarly that you can’t miss it. Thanks to Bienve and his great family for the support, and of course, thanks toFilmer Force !

*Update:

This second video below shows the entire trick, beginning to end. He does get squirrely at the top of the landing after almost casing it, but regains composure to ride down the ramp and jumps off to celebrate. Well done.

kinda lame they don’t show the landing. I don’t really understand why they keep cutting away right when he touches down.

He may have initially landed on two wheels, but he crashed before the bottom of the landing slope. Impressive effort, but I wouldn’t say he “stuck” it.

Yeah, makes me think he didn’t really land it. Plus, the video has more credits than Lord of the Rings.

I think Zach has it right. The picture up top shows him jumping off his bike. But in the 6th and 7th frames from the end, the rear wheel looks like it might be getting a little squirrelly, so he may have ditched it right at the end.
