Winter has officially begun for our Northern hemispherians, but that also means that every day we eke out a little more daylight to ride again. Looking back to the extreme, reader Morgan Wardell sent in a couple of pics from his summer solstice ride back in June. “Not to waste the longest day of the year, I managed to cruise some beautiful Wyoming gravel back roads along the foot of the Big Horn Mountains.”
Those roads are completely frozen now with snow covering a good bit of them, plus more snow expected to ensure a properly white Christmas. So sit by the fire, wait out the warm weather over the weekend and dream of warm trails to come. Hop past the jump for the second of Morgan’s back road bike shots…
