Ok, so another Burning Man has just come to a close, so this pic sent in by Robert Poor made us double take. He shot it only about 115 miles away from Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, but we can only imagine the vibe here was a bit more calm. Robert snapped the photo while out “pedaling the Playa of the Alvord Desert” in southeast Oregon in the rain shadow of the Cascades, looking back to the closer Steens Mountain that rises up just next to the dry lake bed.
