I studied in Copenhagen for a summer while in college and I can confirm the claims made. Bikes rule there. Cars and pedestrians alike give way to bikes. And it is super easy to get anywhere (lack of any major hills helps). You be hard pressed to see any carbon though. Nothing but tough, upright commuter and cargo bikes. Bike parking can actually be a problem in some areas. What a problem to have eh?
