Photos submitted by Daniel Attwell, “The forecast was for sunshine but I was rained on for two days solid whilst biking in Kahurangi National Park, Tasman, South Island New Zealand.
Beautiful green forest in the wilderness of solitude, I didn’t see a soul for two days on this mountain bike track running from Flora car park to Upper Takaka, with a lovely stop for the night at one of DOC (Dept. of Conservation) huts, a fire, warmth, dry (ish) clothes and a dry sleep. Stunning. Oh, and one part I had to cross a cable bridge swaying as I went in the rain. Hairy!”
