I rode the Crest a week before this picture was taken. The views are stunning and it’s one of the best and toughest trails I’ve ever ridden. About at mountain as a mountain bike ride can get. My ride ended up being 41 miles including the jaunt back to Salida.

Rain and lightning came, had a major OTB, then came up on a mama bear with cubs; 38 mile ride and the beer was very good. Knee still hurts.
