Photo submitted by Randy Robbins, “This is a layered image of 323 exposures, capturing the rotation of earth relative to Polaris, the north star. I lit up the foreground and the bike by “light painting” with a flashlight during a few of the exposures. The bike is my trusty Surly Ogre, which I’ve put over 10,000 miles on. I wanted to capture a picture worthy of my favorite bike, so this is what I came up with.” You can see more of his photos here.
