When it comes to footwear, there’s always been a bit of crossover between the BMX and the MTB worlds. Back before many mountain bike brands had flat pedal shoes of their own, many riders sought out the supportive, padded shoes that were popular among BMX riders for street and park use. Now, it seems that everything is coming full circle with the announcement of a new line of mountain bike shoes from etnies.
And who better to help you develop those shoes than slopestyle phenom (who may or may not actually be an advanced bike shredding robot), Brandon Semenuk. While it was a surprise that Brandon wouldn’t be competing at Crankworx Whistler this year, it appears he’s still been plenty busy creating video parts and blowing minds with his effortless style and endless bag of tricks.
According to etnies, Brandon’s pro model, the Jameson Mid CRANK will be launching in September, while the rest of the line will drop in the Spring. Stay tuned.
