Cam McCaul talks about the features of his Trek slope style bike, some of them pretty unique. He shows off his “hydraulic de-tangler” (for bar spins) and then demonstrates how he can still shift when there are no cables running from the bars to the derailleur. He also shows us how he keeps his pedals in place when he “kicks those tail-whips.” That feature — a Flat-head brass bolt threaded through the bottom bracket shell, into the BB spindle to effectively bind it and keep it from spinning freely — is probably strictly custom.
