Set your DVRs, Cam Zink is going huge tonight on live TV. Tonight is the night for the much hyped and anticipated “World of X Games: Mammoth Flip with Cam Zink presented by Monster Energy.” Yes, it’s a bit of a PR stunt, but it’s also a chance to see one of the legends of freeride on live television on a channel that is available with basic cable.
“This event gives us an opportunity to really shine a bright light on our sport,” says Zink. “Every day guys are doing things on mountain bikes that just defy what we thought was possible. It’s one of the fastest growing sports in the US and hopefully the world-record attempt will give the sport some exposure and inspire the next generation of riders to dream big.”
You can catch the event Live on ESPN tonight, Thursday, August 21 at 9:30pm EST, as well as a replay on ABC Sunday, August 24 at 2pm EST.
