Not going to let a few rain showers stop you from riding? Good call. But while you can get wet, you might prefer if some of your stuff stayed dry. Which is precisely why Camelbak has introduced their new M.U.L.E. EVO 12. Their first pack with welded seams and a TPU coating, the EVO is completely waterproof and is ready for adventures.
Other than the waterproof construction, the other thing that makes the M.U.L.E. EVO 12 unique are the vest-style straps. The open mesh construction and Air Support back panel will help keep you cool and help things dry out after a downpour, plus they offer additional storage pockets out front to help balance the load. There’s also an overflow pocket on the back which allows you to stash wet things like an outer layer once it stops raining, without getting everything inside wet.
The pack offers a 3L water bladder and hydration hose, and 12L of internal storage and will sell for $140.
Podium Flow 4 Hip Belt
Adding to their hip belt collection, the new Podium Flow 4 Hip Belt centers the Podium bottle for better weight distribution. It also offers four liters of storage from the zippered pockets on the wings, plus stretch pockets on the outside.
The back of the belt features their Air Support panel with Spider Mesh for ventilation, and like the M.U.L.E. EVO 12, the construction includes recycled materials. The belt includes a 21oz Podium Dirt Series bottle with a protective cap, and it sells for $55.
Lobo 9 Updates
Along with the new offerings, Camelbak has updated the Lobo 9 with lightweight, breathable materials, a removable hip belt and integrated storage pockets. The packs include a 2L bladder, and 9L of storage, come in Unisex or women’s specific fit that uses S-Curved shoulder straps and a contoured shape, and sell for $100.
Stay tuned for some more exciting news from Camelbak later this year!
