If murdered out is a staple in your vocabulary, you’ll probably want to check out the new BLCKCHRM line from Chrome. Built to honor those who make things with their hands and have gone their own way, Chrome offers the black on black on black selection also as a tribute to their commitment to making durable, guaranteed for life bags with exceptional craftsmanship.
Fade to black after the jump.
The BLCKCHRM line is more than just dark colors, it’s also a selection of high end materials to make some super durable bags. The exterior of which are all made from Hypalon which was originally used in US Coast Guard rescue crafts. Why make a bag out of the same material as a boat? The material makes for a durable, waterproof exterior that will develop a nice patina over time while retaining its weatherproofing. Inside you’ll find black digi camo military-grade truck tarpaulin, as well as a pocket with soft woven nylon to protect valuables. Outside there is a full grain leather panel debossed with the Chrome logo, and herringbone webbing and rubber-coated hardware.
Currently, there are three different bags in the BLCKCHRM line that are stealth versions of standard bags Chrome makes as well. The Bravo BLCKCHRM is very similar to the Bravo Night that was recently introduced, only with more black and less reflective material. Feature wise it is very similar to the 20-40L roll top bag, with the BLCKCHRM edition retailing for $220.
As the obligatory messenger bag in the series, the Citizen BLCKCHRM is 26L capacity and has internal fasteners for their Chrome laptop and tactical sleeves (sold separately). You can pick the Citizen BLCKCHRM up for $200.
Rounding out the BLCKCHRM offerings is the Sotnik, a 45-65L duffel bag that can be worn as a back pack. The Sotnik BLCKCHRM will set you back $280.
