If you’re looking for some new gear to rock next season we’ve got a number of fresh releases from Apres Velo, Kask, Hincapie and Knog. This may be a good place to start for last minute gift ideas!

Apres Velo:

Apres Velo is taking a new approach to their offering and aim to become the go-to brand for cyclists. Kicking off their new strategy and offering is the Wool Blend Retro group. The collection is composed of the Heritage polo $70 (top left), Sporty Retro polo $80 (top right), Campione knit $100 (bottom left) and the Maglia knit $90 (bottom right). The polos feature a 12 gauge wool, embroidered logos and 3 back pockets. The jerseys and pullovers have quarter zip fronts, embroidered logos, 12 gauge wool blend and a snap-button pocket on the back.

Kask:

Big news from Kask as they introduce apparel to their line of protective gear. Their first offering is a women-specific collection that is bundled with a matching helmet. The kit includes a jersey, cap, socks, and as mentioned a helmet all matching. Each piece of clothing is designed and made in Italy and will be coming to stores mid Dec. Sizes will range from XS – XL for the jersey while all other accessories fit S – L. More details are coming as we get closer to launch date!

Hincapie:

Hincapie has recently kicked-off their Limited Edition series which will bring new designs throughout the year inspired by what is found along a ride. The first jersey released has a race fit with ProGrip technology to prevent any slippage and 4 rear pockets one of which has a locking zipper – $150. The matching bibshorts get a high-end chamois, similar to those found in their Signature collection, and ProGrip technology to keep the legs in place – $190.

Knog & Leave Pass:

Knog has partnered with Leave Pass to release their first group of cycling apparel. The collection includes a jersey, t-shirt, cycling cap and musette. The jersey features torso grippers, SPF 50+ protection, 4 rear pockets one getting a water-resistant zipper and comes in men and women cuts – $160. The t-shirt has front and back Knog graphics and comes in regular fits for men and women – $25. Carrying the goods, the Musette bag is Knog branded with matching graphics to the tee – $13.

Whoa. Is Kask launching a women’s apparel line BEFORE the men’s? Hell. Yes.

Why would I want the name of a big drug cheat emblazoned across my chest?
Why would I want tacky Apres Velo logos on my shirt?

Why do you think everyone’s shopping tastes are like yours? Given that Hincapie and Apres Velo are still in business, it’s reasonable assumption that some people like and are buying their products. Why worry about something you’re not going to buy?

I do have to agree though. This is terrible execution. The après velo logo is truly ugly and maybe the first high end Hincapie kit could not dissociate itself from unstylish graphics at the front. These things are gonna pile up in the specials bins.

You manage to misspell Hincapie twice, Bikerumor’s great editing has done it again
