Mountain biking draws a pretty mixed crowd, so it’s nice to see technical clothing options that cater to all kinds of aesthetics. If you prefer a more upscale, business-casual look while riding Sun Valley, Idaho’s Club Ride offers bike-specific gear that could easily carry you from the trail to the boardroom.

Club Ride has just announced their Spring/Summer 2020 collection, which includes new styles and colors along with some updated classics for both men and women. They also provide detailed fit info on their website, which is very helpful for people ordering online.

Club Ride men’s Spring/Summer 2020 clothing:

The New West shirt is crafted with an Old-Western look, featuring a single chest pocket and pearl snap buttons. This shirt is made from a 2-way stretch 95% Polyester/5% Spandex blend to ensure ride-friendly mobility. The fabric also wicks away moisture quickly and provides UPF 50 sun protection. Riders will also appreciate its underarm vent panels, hidden zippered rear pocket, sunglass wipe, and RideLight reflective accents.

The New West shirt retails for $79.95. Color options are Flame, Blue White, Desert or Black Plaid. Sizes S-XXL are available.

The Detour shirt was made with mobility in mind, featuring a 4-way stretch blend of 85% Poly/15% Spandex. Its styling is classic and versatile, and the anti-wrinkle fabric will keep you looking sharp from the trail to the pub. The Detour’s fabric also dries quickly, offers UPF 50 sun protection, and is cut around large mesh vent panels that run down both sides. This model also offers a hidden rear zip pocket, sunglass cleaner and reflective accents.

The Detour shirt sells for $89.95. It comes in Seaport Blue, Khaki Cayenne, Merlot, or Steel Blue plaid, plus two Tread Prints in Khaki or Ochre Red. Sizes range from S-XXL.

Club Ride’s Mountain Surf shorts have been updated for 2020 with a new fabric: They’re now made from a 2-way stretch 94% Poly/6% Spandex blend with a WR finish for water and dirt resistance. These shorts also now feature internal Velcro waist adjusters. Built with a gusseted crotch, the Mountain Surf short’s inseam measures 12”. This short offers six pockets – Two front and two rear at the waist, plus two zippered pockets on the legs.

The Mountain Surf short costs $79.95. Color choices include Black, Tapenade or Blue Night (solid colors) or a Roadrunner Print in either Ochre or Navy. Sizes S-XXL are available.

Last up for the men is the HiFi Short. This model is Club Ride’s most technical riding short, made with a blend of durable WR finished fabrics, a gusseted crotch and stretch panels to keep your legs moving freely.

The HIFi shorts have a 13” inseam, external Velcro waist adjusters, and eight pockets to stash plenty of stuff. They sell for $99.95, color options are Steel Grey or Black, and sizes run from S-XXL.

Women’s Spring/Summer 2020 clothing:

The Bandara Shirt is Club Ride’s western-style shirt, tailored for women from a lightweight 2-way stretch 97% Poly/3% Spandex blend. The fabric dries quickly and offers UPF 50 protection, and mesh panels running down the jersey’s sides provide extra ventilation.

The Bandara includes Club Ride’s common features like a hidden rear pocket, sunglass wipe, and reflective accents. MSRP is $69.95, and color options are Loganberry, Peach or Angle Blue Plaid. Sizes range from XS-XL.

The women’s Saavy short is Club Ride’s lightest bike short. Their 4-way stretch fabric, zipperless fly and flat elastic drawcord adjusters give them a board short feel with bike-specific features. The Saavy short’s inseam measures 11”, and they have two front pockets plus a zippered side pocket. This short retails for $69.95, in sizes XS-XL. Color options are Loganberry purple, Cayenne Red, or Black.

If you prefer a shorter cut, the Eden Short has a 7” inseam. Made from a 4-way stretch fabric, these shorts are WR finished to resist water and dirt, feature a single-snap zippered fly, and internal Velcro waist adjusters.
