Often, when we get word of a new bike it’s included with a ton of detail about what to expect. Other times, we get photos with almost zero information. That seems to be the case with the new Commencal Meta TR 29. At first, we thought that the ‘British Edition’ might just be a limited edition colorway, until we realized that Commencal doesn’t have a 29″ version of the Meta TR… yet.
Clearly, these shots of the new Meta TR 29 in the British Edition green indicate not just a new color option but a new bike as well.
And while the Meta TR is a shorter travel bike, the British Edition looks to be quite burly with a Fox 36 up front and a Fox DPX2 rear shock. The British Edition also looks to have a full Renthal cockpit, and a SRAM Eagle 1×12 drivetrain with a Descendant crank. More details when we get them.
