Cosmic Dirt, a street wear and accessories brand, is preparing to launch its first line of technical apparel for mountain biking, and it’s going to be size-inclusive. A line of technical tees, in addition to the Zodiac MTB Pants, will be available in size XS through to 4XL.

Co-founder, Ashley Duffus-Jambor, is a plus-size woman who has been riding bikes her entire life. Cosmic Dirt was born out of Ashley’s frustration with feeling like she didn’t belong in the mountain bike world, because no one was making functional, well-fitting technical apparel for her size. Now she’s ready to change that, for herself and anyone else out there who has ever felt that way, launching a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
Possibly the most exciting item in the Cosmic Dirt lineup of MTB Clothing is the Zodiac Pants, available in sizes XS-4XL. These have been made to have tons of stretch, with a roomy fit made for actually moving in. Cosmic Dirt say they have unisex styling. Though they were designed on a female body, plenty of their male testers have commented that the Zodiac Pants are just plain comfortable.
They have a roll-able jogger-style cuff at the ankle and plenty of room for knee pads. That area has a double layer of fabric to increase durability. The pant fabric is composed of 88% Nylon and 12% spandex with 4-way stretch. These have a 31″ inseam length.
There are three pockets, and the fabric has a water-repellent coating. Backing the Cosmic Dirt Kickstarter Campaign with $120 USD secures you a pair of the Zodiac MTB Pants, that will later retail at $160 USD. They will ship to anywhere in the world, with estimated delivery July 2022.
