Had this message from Jacob Hartz awaiting us on Bikerumor’s Flickr site tonight (along with probably all 1,198 of Cyclewallah’s other contacts):

Hi !

I’m Jacob Hartz, founder of www.Cyclewallah.com.

I’ve enjoyed checking out your Photostream, and I’d like to let you know about the site I just launched. It’s a photo-sharing social network for cycling enthusiasts, where individuals, groups and organizations can find contacts and fans, and stay in touch with them. (And — most importantly — browse bike photos!)

In addition to creating photo albums on your personal profile, you can create fan Pages and Event invitations. This allows you to share photos and information with your fans and contacts. It also allows the entire Cyclewallah community to find and check out your content as they search the site!

With your help, Cyclewallah is poised to grow into a vibrant and rich community of cyclists around the globe.

Feel free to email me with questions and comments at jacob(at)cyclewallah.com, and find me on Cyclewallah!

Stay in touch,

Jacob

More from their website about future grant opportunities after the break.

And from their website:
As Cyclewallah grows, we plan to commit a portion of our ad revenue to helping the world through bicycles. There are many bicycle-related non-profit organizations that do many good things for people and the environment. These organizations range in their activities from sending bicycles to rural villages in developing countries, to providing bike-share programs and free bicycle repair classes in underprivileged neighborhoods.

In order to partner with these organizations, Cyclewallah will accept proposals for individual non-profit projects right here on our website. If you represent a bicycle-related non-profit, or you would like to head up a project of your own, you can submit your proposal at Act > Grant Opportunities when we launch this feature of our site.

We will select projects to fund based on our ability to do so, and on our judgment of the project’s merit.

In the meantime, please visit the Pages of non-profit organizations here on Cyclewallah.
