Elton John’s HIV/AIDS Foundation and the W Hotel in London invited six design types to transform the “boris” bike into a work of art for a charity fundraiser. We think the bike re-designed by architect Ron Arad with the sprung-steel wheels is pretty cool, wonder how it rides? The bikes are available for use at the W’s London hotel until the end of October and are up for auction until then on their facebook page (the app is not up yet, message them with a bid if interested – uh, marketing fail). via designboom.
