Bringing out new tech for over eighty years since the quick release, Campagnolo today announced the development of a new mobile app to manage cycling components and track rider data and usage. The new MyCampy App aims to be a free all-in-one digital tool to track cycling activities and wear and tear while riding and at home. It will keep track of multiple bikes, so cyclists withe an entire garage of steeds can keep them all up-to-date and operating in the pest condition. MyCampy aims to be your neutral support as it helps optimize time on the bike by getting all of the day to day management out of the way. The MyCampy app will include lots of functionality to boost the cycling experience for those of us who are into integrating our screen time and pedaling. Campagnolo’s promises the following functionality from the new app sections:
MyGarage: This will track a detailed overview of all cycling equipment; track distance ridden on each component, wheel, chain or cassette; and find out when it is time for regular maintenance.
MyEPS: It will connect wirelessly with Campy electronic gruppos to fully customize shift commands and system performance; keep up to date with automatic the newest EPS firmware; and offer real-time diagnostics for all EPS components.
MySessions: This will be a smart analytical tool to give an in-depth view into individual performance and how it is linked to component wear and maintenance; will track each shift to show precisely where, when, and how you were riding a specific segment, will also offer suggestions to maximize riding efficiency with the new V3 EPS Interface wireless functionality.
Campagnolo Newsfeed: The newsfeed will keep Campy fans up to date on all things Campagnolo, from race results to new products and launches.
The App will be available initially for iOS and Android, and then will come to personal computers. It is in the final development stage and is expected for reach in the next few months.
