99% Team Spec

Cannondale says this bike is “99%-team-spec,” making it as close as die-hard roadies, and fans can get to ride what the pros ride, from Team Edition Vision wheels and Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 to Cannondale’s sleek SystemBar R-One. The LAB71 SuperSix EVO Team Edition design features a subtle Easter egg on the downtube, blending Cannondale’s iconic green (back to the Garmin-Sharp days)—a tribute to their heritage—with EF Pro Cycling’s bold pink, symbolizing the team’s fearless reinvention over the years.

If it wasn’t pink, it’d be a good looking bike

Didnt the pros ride a normal supersix last year painted up as Lab71? Cannonfail.

Yes, that is exactly what they did. At the end of the year, they sold off their bikes and there was an asterisk on the listings saying that the bikes (ridden by the pros) were standard Supersix’s with Lab71 paint jobs, meaning that the top level pros didn’t need the more expensive level frame. I wonder if that will be the same this year.

No, they painted their previous top tier bikes in Lab71 colorways before they had enough of them to outfit the whole team.

I compared to team bikes and the 99% appears to be the team bikes have a spider based powermeter and these replicas dont.

Why Cannonfail? Because their 2nd tier frame was good enough?

So basically much of the history of bikes in the pro peloton is history of scam/false advertising? After all, riders were riding steel frames made by one builder but with another company’s name on it, and the same was happening with aluminum frames, Ti frames, and CF frames. Or are you just referencing Cannondale ‘cuz somehow that’s different? Have ever gotten angry about pros riding CF frames with custom lay-ups, i.e. lay-ups different than the stock frames?
