Esker Cycles’ collaboration with MRP then, is a limited run of Japhy frames to match MRP “ShredKote” forks in Wild Purple. That is to say, the quad-butted & tapered frame 4130 chromoly frame gets the exact same lighter, more impact-resistant Cerakote ceramic finish as the fork.
Want to learn more about the Esker Japhy 29er? It just got an UDH upgrade a couple of weeks ago. But it’s otherwise the same lovely slack 29+ trail hardtail that Esker introduced a few years back.
A custom color MRP fork, you say?
MRP actually offers 18 custom Cerakote colors in their Custom Forks program, so Esker decided to get on the fun in their favorite Wild Purple. Interestingly, the MRP custom program usually doesn’t include the more burly Raven (usually it’s only Ribbons & Baxters). But Esker preferred the slightly heavier, more adjustable (and adjustable to longer travel) Raven with its bigger tire clearance, set up with 120mm of travel.
