To celebrate the results of more than two years of product development, e*thirteen is releasing a very limited edition wheelset. Called the AG1r, the wheels are replicas of the very wheels that Gwin has been punishing on the World Cup track with a few new graphics to commemorate the occasion.

According to e*thirteen the wheels coincide with the launch of their new carbon rim layup which results in increased durability and the rims carrying a lifetime warranty. The 27.5″ wheels feature a 30mm internal width hookless LG1 carbon rim with 32 holes. Meant for DH/park riding and racing, the rims are ideal for 27.5 x 2.3-2.6″ tires. The rims also feature an eagle – only Gwin’s signature eagle logo.

The hubs also feature special eagle graphics on the carbon hub shell with machined aluminum flanges that are widely spaced for the integrated 7 speed cassette. The hubs will also be available separately, in 110 x 20mm front and 150/157mm rear with claimed weights of 205/442g and prices of $199/$399.

The wheelset itself will be limited to just 25 sets making these extremely limited. Coming in at 2120g with the integrated 7 speed DH cassette, the wheels include tubeless tape, valves, three extra silver spokes, nipples, and nipple washers, plus the end caps for 150 or 157mm rear hubs. Available now.

Just in time for Gwin to roll out on a 29er, perfection!
.
More seriously those are some very sweet looking wheels and the lifetime replacement policy is an excellent one.
