Feedback Sports’ portable repair stands are super easy to use and rock solid, and their Sport model delivers the essentials at a reasonable price. Now, it’s been updated as the Sport Mechanic 2.0 workstand.

Key upgrades for v2 are:

  • Updated clutch body internals add rotational holding strength
  • Main mast tube collar is redesigned for improved durability
  • Max capacity increased to 85lbs (up from 69lbs)
  • Now includes Compact Tool Tray

The improvements help you hold your bike more securely, no matter how you rotate it – perfect for heavier e-bikes. And the included tool tray mounts to the upright, keeping basic tools at hand.

The tripod design is stable on uneven surfaces and folds down easily for transport and storage. Lightweight silver-anodized aluminum tripod legs save weight, while the powder coated steel main tube helps support the bike. Use it for repairs, bike washes, and keeping your bike stable for tuneups.

I really rate their old Sport Mechanic workstand, and this looks like a nice incremental upgrade. Slightly jealous of the new tool tray, I gotta admit!

For parking lot tailgating and shade tree mechanics, these stands are great for holding beach umbrellas.
