Only last summer, FFWD updated their disc TT & Triathlon wheel setup to be significantly lighter, wider & faster, but they’re already back again with an even newer Falcon RS that takes it one step further for more ‘Racing Speed’. It’s the same exact multi-curve lenticular aerodynamic shape – just 2mm wider, fitted with CeramicSpeed bearings, and now just <900g.
To make your racing against the clock setup faster yet, FFWD has added a deeper version of their top-tier, carbon-spoke aero wheels with a new RAW 77. And they’ve even quietly updated the RAW 44 & RAW 55 with wider internal rims…
FFWD Falcon RS lightweight time trial & triathlon rear disc

When FFWD launched their first hollow Falcon Disc wheel last summer, they said ‘lightweight & speed’ were the two requirements of time trialists and triathletes. So this year, they’ve upped their disc wheel game with the Falcon RS.
For lightweight, this new one is now 141g lighter thanks to “higher grades of carbon types as well as an enhanced layup [that] reduces the needed resin”, combined with a lighter “minimal, polished top finish“.
For speed, the new rear disc wheel is 2mm wider inside for lower tire pressures for lower rolling resistance, plus it gets upgraded to faster-rolling CeramicSpeed bearings.

Latest RAW aero wheels add deeper 77mm depth

FFWD updated their premium RAW aero wheelset range early last year…
They got lighter blunt-nosed LAW Tech aerodynamic rims, new light matte or glossy finish options, 21mm internal hooked tubeless beads, stiffer carbon spokes, new custom-made aero FFWD CS² alloy centerlock disc brake hubs with CeramicSpeed bearings, and of course, lower wheelset weights.
And they already came in three depths – 33mm at 1350g for the pair, 44mm at 1395g, and 55mm at 1460g.
Now, FFWD adds a 77mm deep RAW 77 option for time trial & triathlon racing – available as a front & rear set, or individually to mix-and-match depths & discs.

And like the Falcon RS, it also gets the wider 23mm internal hooked tubeless bead, optimized for 25mm to 28mm tires.
The new FFWD RAW 77 has a claimed wheelset weight of 1670g – 780g front & 890g rear.
RAW 44 & RAW 55 get wider, too

That 23mm internal width hinted that FFWD would likely roll out updates to the original RAW series soon enough, as well. (They were 21mm internal hooked tubeless when they hit the market just 18 months ago.)
So we checked. And in fact, the 44mm & 55mm deep RAW wheels have already been quietly updated to 23mm, too.
No change to their claimed weight, just wider rims designed to fit modern 25-32mm tires.
