Morsa is a new brand, starting out with an interesting take on the accessory mount for handlebars. Their mount is an entirely modular system, starting out with a single mounting arm for 31.8mm handlebars, that extends about 4″ forward. This arm has a track on either side that can accept a wide variety of mounting adapters for the most popular ride gadgets.
The injection molded carbon/nylon mounts are also made in the USA. Owner Jeff Bobbitt wants to build Morsa into a brand that delivers excellent quality and design, where the needs of the customers drive their decisions. Coming from a background as an IndyCar suspension engineer, he is the designer and engineer on his products, and puts the greatest amount of his time into research and design to deliver the best product possible.

One thing I really liked about them is they cleaned up the handlebar area. I might be a little OCD when it comes to keeping the handlebars from being cluttered, so a single mount that put everything out in front was nice. The only negative issue with all the items in one place is that to install and remove the Garmin, I had to remove the light first in order to have enough room for the quarter-turn release method of the Garmin. The Morsa mounts fit a lot of things into a nice tidy space, but getting things too close together could be difficult.
The base to every system is the Morsa arm that sells for $20. You start with one of these, and then start adding the small accessory mounts.
I gave them a try using the Garmin mount, and the round mount to hold a Lezyne SuperDrive XL. Now, the weight of this shown above is somewhat irrelevant to the Morsa product, but I wanted to see how much weight the injection-molded plastic mounts could take. This is a decent amount of weight to hang off of a plastic arm, yet the mounts were sturdy, and didn’t bounce around.
All of the accessory adapters come in a nice attractive package, and cost $10 each. They have them for Garmin, GoPro, Rokform phone cases, and a simple round 31.8, for anything else that mounts on a handlebar.
The round mount had a nice oval-shaped fitment into the main arm, to keep it from rotating around and coming loose if you were adjusting the items mounted to it. All of the other accessory mounts do not have the oval insert, so they can be rotated themselves to properly position the item.
Give em a look, because at my first glance and first use, these are a pretty worthy product, mostly because of their decently low price and long-term versatility.
