Quick, if you have a screen capable of showing 4k video, watch this video of Ryan Howard now. No on the 4k? Well, watch it anyways, you’ll be glad you did. The always stylish R-Dog makes slashing corners and boosting big gaps look completely effortless.

Start your weekend off with some solid motivation after the jump…

Cam McCaul and Kirt Voreis always know how to have a good time on a bike. The two teamed up for a quick preview of the Fox  spring ’15 All Mountain/Trail Collection.

Endura sent over this entertaining video of a slip and slide competition enduro race, which is one of the two Scottish Enduros they sponsor. Organized by TweedLove, the first race of the year proved to be a little slippy…

500 mountain bike riders headed to the Scottish Borders on the last weekend of March 2015, for TweedLove’s first enduro race of the year. But the weather came too, meaning some, erm, testing conditions on the trails were revealed. We all had a great time, sliding through the forests…

Bombtrack Bicycle Co. is a division of WE MAKE THINGS GmbH, Cologne / Germany.

We have been involved with the Singlespeed Cyclocross European Championships for a few years now, and its always an event we have fixed in our diaries. Its not exactly a UCI event, but rather a competition for enthusiasts looking for some elbows out, shoulder to shoulder single speed racing. Taking place in the small village of Mons-en-Pévèle in northern France, close to the Belgian border, its a region synonymous with CX.

The competitors are as varied as the terrain on which they race, from sponsored pro’s to fixed gear bike messengers, but all our racing for the love rather than the glory. Our team rider Stefan “Fish” Vis took part on his ARISE, to see what the bike could do on a competitive stage. The bike and Fish share quiet a lot in common: both are like a Swiss Army Knife, tough, dependable and versatile. A perfect bike for an enthusiast like “Fish”, who is now able to convert this bike for whatever lies ahead.

Fish won the bronze medal, an achievement that given the competition and the hardware they were riding is a nice achievement.

Rotorua, New Zealand provided a spectacular backdrop to the start of the Enduro World Series. Lizard Skins checks in with Anneke Beerten and Anne Caroline Chausson on how some of the top Enduro racers are getting back at it.

“You don’t want to hit the first race with no race feeling.” Anneke Beerten

“It was like a battlefield out there. I went to war today for 7-8 hours!” Anneke Beerten

“Really physical at first and at the end really technical. I made some mistakes but I guess everyone made mistakes.” Anne Caroline Chausson

Lizard Skins is a proud sponsor of both Anneke Beerten and Anne Caroline Chausson. Congrats to Anne who won the first round of the Enduro World Series and to Anneke Beerten who won the pumptrack challenge and finished 4th in the Enduro.

Finally, from the fine folks at NSMB and Mattdennison.tv comes one final April Fools Day hurrah. As you might expect from the same crew that brought you Sh*t Mountain Bikers Say, and countless other classics, this one is not to be missed. While we can’t condone all of the pranks, some of these are quite amusing. Not that we’ve ever tried any of them…

That was impressive. I almost never sit through the standard vid these days, and I was tuned in for that whole thing. Very cool. So smooth. Actually lands his tricks with the bike all lined up as opposed to most folks who just try to get the front end back and let the rear fall however.

Hats off to that boss.
