If you’ve ever seen a truck moving down the highway that was carrying something that looked fun to ride, this video is for you. Daniel Dhers takes riding in traffic to a new level with some death defying riding on a ramp, on a truck, on the road.
More BMX action plus a killer new trail in NZ after the break!
From Redbull:
Daniel takes an unusual city tour of Lima by riding ramps mounted on two moving trucks. Motorists and pedestrians in the heart of Lima were recently treated to a unique BMX street show involving Daniel Dhers.
Daniel took to the streets of Peru’s capital to perform on wooden skatepark ramps that were built on to two truck trailers. To add to the complexity, he performed on the ramps while the trucks moved their way through the busy streets of Lima’s city centre.
What better way to bring BMX to a wider audience than a project that literally stops the traffic. The hardest part was the perception of everything moving around while riding. The ramps are so narrow and the traffic creates such a level of stress that all your senses must be sharpened.
The Venezuelan, a five times X Games Gold medallist, is not one to shy away from a challenge. Who can forget his participation on a specially built skatepark on a moving barge for Red Bull Barge Spin in Miami back in 2011.
Perris Benegas goes higher than you. Ok, well higher than most people. Yeah, yeah, we know – helmets.
